The badges are selling well, as always. I love watching people as they look through them – watching their expressions change as they move from confronted or confused to amused and intrigued. The badges often generate a lot of fervent discussion and get a lot of laughs. Strangers begin talking with each other as they rummage through the bucket. It's a good feeling to have had a part in creating that situation. I am having all sorts of hairbrain ideas about funding my next holiday purely with badges. Taking my badge maker with me and seeing how long I last. Maybe I will test-run the idea in Melbourne first and see how I go at some other markets.
