Boston Marriage

Another night at the theatre. Saw Boston Marriage by David Mamet, performed by Helen Hopkins, Corinne Davies & Eleanor Wilson of Hoy Polloy.

"Part romantic comedy, part satire on 19th-century hypocrisy and class prejudice, Boston Marriage combines Wildean wit, double entendre and scarifying grandiloquence."

I liked it.

dad and daniel - post theatre

The Government Inspector

"John Bell unites two of Australia's finest actors to bring to life Nikolai Gogol's classic comedy The Government Inspector. Darren Gilshenan and William Zappa use their consummate skill and energy to play all nineteen characters in this sharp and hilarious satire, with plenty of physical mayhem."
Daniel took Dad and I to see The Government Inspector at the Playhouse this evening (good big brother). I really enjoyed it, very very funny, and would highly recommend seeing it.

the things you see when you have time to look

ing's big walk

Yesterday I ended up walking through the backwaters of Kew after trying to vary my regular route by taking a different path which got me stuck between endless freeways and impenetrable golf courses.

i'm not the witty one

Daniel, Tim and I seem to be making a habit of Monday night bowling. I like bowling and I am not ashamed to admit it.

experimenta playground

Went to Experimenta Playground with Rachel. It reignited my enthusiasm for all the things I have chosen to do with my life. I haven't felt that buzz for a long time and once again I feel reassured I am travelling down the right path. The evening was topped off with beer and many a game of Connect 4. I love connect 4.

This is the least of my problems with my current animation project. I am plummeting towards a Terry Gilliam scale disaster.

pills, paint and outings - tales from an agoraphobic

The naturopath's handiwork has taken enough effect for me to venture out of the four walls. 'Going out' is highly over rated. Watching paint dry is slightly under rated.

rainy days and baby grands

Went to see Tori Amos last night at Hamer Hall and have been inspired to put in some hours with the piano. Perfect day for it.
